Easy samurai sudoku

Easy samurai puzzles give you 160 to 200 digits across the five grids. That's enough to solve most sub-grids almost independently, with only light use of the shared boxes.

If you can solve a regular 9×9 sudoku, you can solve these. The main thing you're learning at this level is navigating the 21×21 board without losing track of which grid you're in. Focus Mode on mobile helps with that: it shows one sub-grid at a time and lets you jump between them with the TL, TR, C, BL, BR buttons.

Cross-grid logic is minimal here. You might get one or two cells that require checking the shared box from the other grid's perspective, but naked singles and basic scanning carry you through the rest. A good pace for easy samurai is 15 to 25 minutes.

Once easy feels routine, move to medium where the shared boxes start gating your progress.
