About medium number grids

Still 3×3, but now all four operations appear — including multiplication and division. The number range widens to 1–20, and you will see 3 or 4 blank cells.

Division here always divides evenly. If you try a number and it gives a fraction, that number is wrong. This rule is one of the most useful ways to narrow down possibilities. Also keep in mind the left-to-right evaluation: 6 ÷ 2 + 1 is 4, not 6 ÷ 3. Students around grades 3–5 who know their times tables should find medium grids manageable.
