Step01—Meet the board
This is Futoshiki.
A 4×4 grid. Fill every cell with a digit from 1 to 4. No digit may repeat in any row or column — just like Sudoku. Between some adjacent cells you'll see a < or > sign. Those two cells must obey that ordering.
Rules in play
- Each row and column holds digits 1–4 exactly once
- Every < and > between adjacent cells must be obeyed
- Logic only — no guessing required
Cell digit
Each cell holds one digit 1–4. No digit repeats in any row or column.
Inequality
The wide side of > or < holds the larger digit. Works the same vertically (∨ / ∧).
Chain
A full-row chain of inequalities forces digits in exact order — no options left.
