Pattern Puzzles

Medium patterns have two things going on at once. Maybe every other element follows a different rule, or the sequence adds then multiplies in alternation. First differences won't be constant anymore, so you need to look deeper.

A useful trick: split the sequence into odd-positioned and even-positioned elements. If each sub-sequence has its own simple pattern, you've cracked it. This catches most of the alternating patterns at this level.
