Anagram

Six to seven letters. The pool is large enough that glancing at the letters and hoping the word appears in your head stops working. You need to start looking for common letter pairs — TH, SH, ING, TION — and build outward from those anchors.

The shuffle button becomes useful here. Seeing the same letters in a different arrangement often triggers recognition that staring at the original scramble never would. Do not underestimate it.
